Baby Seal Season

After hearing about the baby seals being born at the lookout by Shore Acres, we decided to go check it out after stake conference. Some volunteers had their spotting scopes set up, so we got a couple of cool pictures through those. This lookout is really cool (Simpson Beach) because there are Stellar Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, Elephant Seals, and California Sea Lions all hanging out together on the same beach/island way out in the ocean.

The white speck in the middle is a baby resting on the rocks.

One cool thing about living close to the ocean is that there are so many fun things to do at it! Baby seals, whale spotting, hunting in tide pools, crabbing, clamming, skim boarding...and endless wind.
