Paisy Daisy

At 8 1/2 months, Paisli...

-can go from laying down to sitting by herself.
-can army crawl, with her arms performing a slalom motion like a skier.
-is close to hands-and-knees crawling, but prefers to do an inchworm imitation instead.
-is definitely taking the longest of all our kids to crawl. She's almost a month behind what Kiersa was doing at this age, and Kiersa took way longer than our first two! Boy, kids all in one family sure can be different!
-will give you kisses if you ask her for them, but she has to be in the right mood.
-makes sputtering sounds with her tongue that seems to stave off boredom for her.
-LOVES to bite anything and everything...HARD. Thank GOODNESS she's weened!!!
-has 2 teeth on the bottom and one of her front teeth on top just popped through with the other ready to do the same any time.
-is VERY attached to Mommy and REALLY doesn't like to be held by anyone but Mommy and Daddy. Often not even Daddy will do.
-loves to put her fingers in Daddy's mouth when she wants to fall asleep.
-lays around like Cleopatra all the time. She'll probably end up crawling like her cousin Hali...on the side of her rear.

-still doesn't like to eat...unless she gets to put the food in her mouth by herself with her fists.
-stops crying when she hears the sound of a bottle being shaken.
-can move all around in a walker.
-keeps a very serious look on her face (especially with those eyebrows), but is super quick to smile.

-is the only one of our kids to get my short eyelashes instead of Hyrum's long ones.
-is the biggest snuggler ever! She just lays her head against your chest or shoulder and hugs you. She especially snuggles you when she's scared, which is all the time since any noise freaks her out...especially scary or loud voices or power tools.
