We're trying to stock up on our food storage now since there's a good chance we'll be living off it for a while! And since I'm not going to work anymore, I'm taking advantage of my home time and catching up on blogs, the house, and canning.
Braden and Jasmine (and Dallas) were here, so we took them plum picking also, then Hyrum and I canned tons of tasty plum jam. I swear I have the best husband ever! What other husband will sacrifice his thumbs to pit plums for his wife when hers are too sore to continue, and then help with canning? I know how lucky I am! Just so you know, plum jam is the best jam ever, though plums are a PAIN to pit! Especially these plums since they're the size of large black cherries. Our thumbs may never recover.

OOOOOOH Tiana you got me addicted to your plum jam while I was there and I soo so wish I was there just to have a plum jam & PB sandwich! mMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM so yummy! Wow my mouth is watering just thinking about it!
Can you save me a jar of the plum jam for when I come out at Christmas? I want to try it!! And I didn't know there were blueberry farms in Oregon. How fun. How much do they charge, out of curiosity? We have pick-your-own farms here but they're quite expensive.
