5 years later...

5 years ago, my sister, Melanie, gave me an adorable dress that came with a flower pattern to stitch on the top. I started it 5 years ago, but never got very far before putting it aside for something.

I never finished it before Talea outgrew it.

I picked it up again when I was pregnant with Kiersa and stitched on it while I was going through the long wait of my glucose re-test.

I never finished it before Kiersa outgrew it.

Then along came Paisli. I wanted to finish it, but couldn't find it after our move to Myrtle Point! I finally stumbled upon it the other day (along with several unfinished quilts and an unfinished afghan that I started on the semi 7 years ago), and I decided I would sit down and force myself to finish it before Paisli outgrew it, since there's a good chance she'll be our last baby.

I'm pleased to announce, IT'S DONE!!!!!

Another one of my sister's gave me her dress from Melanie that she'd never gotten to stitching, but I don't have a pattern for it, and I'm afraid to start another one for fear I'll never get it done! I love them though! They're so beautiful and classic!

What an adorable dress! You know I LOVE gingham - it's the Dorkas in me!

And how clever are you to fix it up.
