My garden did okay this year. We didn't have tons of corn, but what we did get, was good. I planted pole beans with the corn and that was a huge mistake. It took over the corn and made the corn crop smaller. We've been picking, blanching, and freezing tons of beans, eating lots of corn, and making tons of zucchini bread. My tomatoes were the most pathetic thing I've ever seen, but I only plant them for the smell of the plants since only Hyrum likes tomatoes.

Garden-food dinners are the best: corn, beans, brussel sprouts and squash!

I have to say, I think the zucchini bread was my favorite result of our garden...AND, the added bonus was that I didn't have to make any. Hyrum made it all! You can see the kids love it too.
