Idaho here we come!

We're moving to Idaho!!! I'm not sure when yet, but Hyrum was officially accepted to Brigham Young University-Idaho today, so we'll be moving to Rexburg, Idaho soon. We're super excited!!!

Hyrum has already been accepted to do courses through them online for the fall, so he's registered for 10 credits. That'll lighten his load a little during nursing school.

I went to BYU-I back when it was Ricks, and I LOVED it!! Rexburg has changed a lot since 1994-1996 though. They even have a temple now! I know we're in for horribly snowy, windy, freezing, long winters, but we'll be close to Yellowstone and the Tetons, so we're excited. And, we'll be close to Hyrum's family! We haven't lived closer than 12 hours to them in 6 years. We'll be just minutes away from Hyrum's Smith parents too, so we'll see them a lot I'm sure. Our kids will finally know their Grandma Sheri and Grandpa Mike!

I'll be 15 hours from my family though, so we're not done with our long-haul trips across the bareness of Eastern Oregon yet.

Idaho is dry and dusty, but they have amazing chocolate milk (with potato flakes in it) at a dairy in Idaho Falls. We can't wait! We loved stopping there while we drove semi.

We're more than ready for a whole new change.

A new house.

A new city.

A new state.

A new job.

A new lifestyle of being poor college kids again. Thank goodness I already have my bachelor's degree so we're not both struggling through homework and kids at the same time. Phew!!

We may even get to go country dancing on Wednesday nights, if we can find a family to swap babysitting with.

I'm NOT looking forward to sales tax again.

I'm NOT looking forward to pumping my own gas again. Especially when I saw several people on TV tonight get engulfed in flames while pumping their own gas simply because their hand created an electrical charge when they touched the nozzle. Did I mention Rexburg is dry and staticy? Yeah, I'm not excited about that.

Congratulations on being accepted, my Love! I never doubted you'd get in, but it's nice to have it official. I know you'll ace your classes!

Wow! That's big news! When do you go? What will happen to your big house? Hope your nosehairs don't freeze in the winter. Isn't that what you said happened there?

Ohhhh!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations! I'm glad you guys are looking forward to your new lifestyle! Hyrum will make a great nurse.
If you need gas-pumping lessons, you can always give me a call :) I am sorry to hear about that horrendous weather though--not something I'm very good at adjusting to. The kids will have fun in the snow though!
